This is a page on How-To's on Windows CE, I've started off with how to connect to the internet and how to configure E-Mail, lots of screen shots so please be patient.

If Anybody has any ideas on what topics to cover on these how-to's then please let me know. Craig

Configuring a Remote Networking Connection for an Internet Service Provider.

Click on Start, Programs, Depending on which unit you have it may take a second or three to appear.

Double Tapping on t Communications Icon will Bring up another screen
Double tap on Make New Connection
Enter an Appropriate Name for the connection
Clicking Next will bring up the Select a modem connection, It is a good idea to have already plugged in your hardware, so that Windows CE will hopefully know all about it, I'm using a Dynalink 14.4 pcmcia modem here, which has a rockwell chipset.
I set use terminal window after dialing, this is just a personal preference, I like to logon manually and not have it remember my settings.
Call Options, I left these alone and they seem to work fine.
TCP/IP Settings, Well I had to key in my DNS Server Details here, the log on to network option I left this unchecked (again a personal preference), I like to be able to see what's going on.
Tapping o.k. should take you back here to the program group
A Note, If you try and access a Remote Networking Connection to the Internet whilst connected to your PC you will see the Following:

IF Anybody's know a way around this then please let me know!

O.K. Double Tapping on the Connection you just made should dial your Internet Service Provider and you should be logged in. (Or given a login prompt)

If In doubt once your modem has dialled then hit return a couple of times and hopefully you will hava login: prompt.

The Next step is to hide the connected box, and Launch Pocket Internet Explorer.
